Land Acknowledgement

The Liberty Co office is housed on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. It is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Liberty Co recognizes the historic, current and ongoing inequality caused by colonialism and other forms of systematic oppression and is motivated to turn this injustice to action by supporting Indigenous peoples and all historically marginalized groups on their journeys of self-determination.
